Description

An absolutely charming Regency sewing box in the form of a basket with it's original bentwood folding swing handle.

The domed top features a figural scene with one of the men holding a Crown. The sides are decorated with a very English Oak Leaf and Acorn continuous panel.

Complete with a working key, the box remains in superb condition. 6 1/4" x 6 1/2" x 5" tall and 8 1/2" to top of handle. Regency in era, dating to around 1815 / 1820.
