Standing over elegant legs with serpentine shaped lower plinth rising into a fine lower cabinet with vase carved door flanked by mirror backed display recesses with central shelf. The door provides working lock and key opening to reveal a velvet lined interior.
The upper section provides further interest with wonderful quality bevel glazing and mirrors. A seven pane door, with working lock & key, sits over an under gallery with carved wings capped by turned finials. The whole is surmounted with an arch top pediment to the crown.
Of excellent proportion it presents a classic appeal with fine walnut depth of colour and grain.
Overall a rare corner display cabinet in this style and condition. A quality late English Victorian example which will look fabulous in any location.
