The piano shaped fall opens to reveal a 2 drawer interior and an adjustable pull out writing/reading slope which retains the original green and gold tooled leather writing surface and an ebonised pen tray and 2 glass ink pots with brass tops. The panelled front with top quality turned and carved decorative columns resting on a concave shaped plinth with turned bun feet and hidden castors. The right hand side with 4 mahogany lined drawers all with turned walnut knobs, brass escutcheons and working locks(with keys). The left side with false drawers and similar turned knobs and escutcheons. The freestanding back with matching burr walnut panel and applied mouldings. Bespoke quality and in A1 condition.
