Description

An impressive antique Georgian bow fronted corner washstand. In a rich solid mahogany this attractive piece of furniture would make a lovely bathroom unit, hall corner table or plant stand. It has three tiers, the top tier with a lifting flap which reveals spaces for bowls (missing). The middle tier has one working drawer and two dummy drawers at each side while the bottom tier has a circular indentation where a jug would have stood. Their is attractive cock beading to the drawers and the top section is wavy. It stands on elegant out-swept tapered legs .

In good condition. Some small scuffs and marks commensurate with age. Small split to the top back section near the hinge.
