A Burr Walnut Victorian Period Pop Up Davenport

Description

A burr walnut Victorian Period pop up davenport. Having a "piano" top with a rising pop up stationery compartment with three boxwood lined drawers and pigeon holes. The sliding writing surface having an adjustable leather writing surface and pen trays. With four mahogany lined drawers to the right hand side and four "dummy" drawers to the opposite side. The whole raised on elegant carved cabriole supports with bun feet and inset brass and porcelain castors, English circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 23" wide x 24" deep x 38" high

Condition: This davenport is in excellent condition, restored and re-polished in our workshops
