This is a Heavy Oak Screen, the top of each fold has intricate carvings of Female Figure Heads and Fruit decorated with scrolls and acanthus leaves, below there are 2 more large panels inset and embossed, painted in Old Gold and Dark Brown, at the very bottom there is another carved oak panel (there is no carving on the back of the screen)
The screen is large and very heavy it is in good condition and all the carvings are sound
The screen is 86” high and when fully extended it is 78” wide (each fold is about 25.5” wide)
