A good quality French tortoishell mantel clock. Gilt cast mounts and surmounted by 4 finials. An enamel dial with Fleur-de-lys blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong by Samuel Marti of Paris. Circa 1890.
