Description

An antique Aesthetic Movement ebonised side chair, in the manner of Dr Christopher Dresser. The padded toprail above a flower-painted giltwood panel over a stuffed seat within raked and turned arms and flared legs. Dating from the 1880-1890s ths stunning and unusual small chair would make wonderful hall, bedroom or dressing table chair.

Construction/Wood:

Ebonised wood

Condition Report:

Good condition, very solid, wear and marks commensurate with age. Fabric is in good clean condition - seat is fairly firm and fairly comfortable. Would have originally been on casters.
