The brass dial has a polished chapter ring that bears the makers name of Jo Smith Holywell, it is decorated with brass spandrels in each corner there is also an engraved seconds dial and a date chapter the hands are steel

The Clock’s 8 day movement has been completely cleaned and restored, it runs very well and chimes the hour on time with a very chirpy ding, the weights are lead and the pendulum is brass.
The case is sound but it has an age split in the bracket footed base at the front, a truly old and rare piece

The clock stands 83” high, it is 19” wide and 11” deep
