A delightful English Victorian ornate wall mirror of oval form c1860.
With triple moulded detailing to the main frame, charming foliate work, and surmounted by an avian crown theme.
Overall a pleasing example with classic proportions wonderfully detailed and unusual with the fluttering bird feature.
In a desirable mostly unrestored condition the upper ornate work is complete with just some old light repairs consistent with age. The lower ornate work has a robust extension tail with missing side scroll elements, but this certainly does not detract.
