Description

A winning combination of exotic Brazilian Rosewood and intricately cut and inlaid Ivory. The central cartouche is intact with the original engraved and inked monogram, I think GHCC.

The hinged lid opens to reveal a fresh and clean interior having been re-lined in an Italian hand-marbled paper, ready for use.

Dating to around 1830, early William IV, the box comes complete with a working key and is in excellent condition. 11" x 7 1/4" x 4 1/2" tall.
