Antique Large Victorian Mahogany Scotch Chest of Drawers C1860

Large Antique Victorian Mahogany Scotch Chest of Drawers and dating from around 1860. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a squared edge to the top with cross banded edge and with large twist columns to each side. There is a serpentine shaped frieze drawer above three deep serpentine shaped hat drawers with working key and three long graduating drawers all of which are ash lined and with original turned mahogany knob handles inset with mother of pearl. It stands on a plinth base on turned feet.

Measures: 58" high x 22" deep x 48" wide

A Superb Antique Large Victorian Mahogany Scotch Chest of Drawers and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
