Antique 18th Century Carved Country Oak Dresser Base Sideboard C1760

Antique 18th Century Carved Oak Dresser Base or Sideboard and dating from around the time of George 111 c1760. It has a plank top with moulded edge above a carved frieze and carved rosette corbals and with three cushion fronted drawers all of which are oak lined with original swan neck brass handles. A carved lunette frieze sits above two central carved panels flanked on either side by a carved panel door one of which has celtic design the other a carved lozenge and rosette and both with original brass drop handles. It has a carved plinth base and sits on original style feet. It has panelled sides and is hand & peg joined.

Measures: 36" high x 22" deep x 66" wide

A very nice Antique 18th Century Carved Country Oak sideboard and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
