Small Vintage Oak Bureau

1900 - 1920
Description

A charming small vintage bureau in oak. It has carving to the sides of the fall which is repeated on the bottom pelmet. It has 2 drawers with geometric drop handles and stands on turned legs with 4 supporting stretchers. The interior is fitted out with 6 pigeon holes for letters, documents etc. A really nice quality piece it has lovely figured oak. Dating from the early 20th century circa 1920-1930.

Construction/Wood:

Oak.

Condition Report:

Solid, some marks and scuffs to the interior and exterior commensurate with age. Large split which runs across the middle of the front of the fall that has been filled with furniture wax. Small chips to the corners of the fall. It has new brass replacement hings to the interior. Small ring mark to top.

Depth at Drawers: 16"

Height to top: 43.5"
