A Good Set of 14 Mahogany Chippendale Revival Antique Dining Chairs

Description

A good set of 14 mahogany Chippendale Revival antique dining chairs including two carver armchairs. Each splat is wonderfully carved in the "Gothic" Chippendale style together with the usual formal Chippendale florid carved detail. Having a drop in cushion seat newly upholstered in a gold coloured damask fabric. The seat rails and square front supports with Chippendale blind fret carved detail and united by strong shaped H stretchers. English circa 1900-1920

Dimensions: Stand Chairs 21" wide x 21" deep x 38" high (Seat height 17") Carvers 24" wide x 22" deep x 40" high (seat height 18")

Condition: These chairs are in excellent condition, cleaned and waxed. Newly re-upholstered in our workshops in a gold damask fabric
