Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It has fancy brass drop handles (period replacements). The interior is fitted out with pigeon holes for letters, documents etc. A really nice quality piece it has lovely figured quarter sawn oak to the top and front and it has a makers label to the back: Christopher Pratt Bradford. Dating from the early 20th century circa 1910-1930.

Good condition, some marks and scuffs to the interior and exterior commensurate with age. Key does not work - for decoration only. Handles are replacements. Small piece of stud beading missing to one side.
