These antique walnut armchairs are in lovely original condition & they are double caned all over. They have a wonderful shape & are very well carved. I would date them to around the 1910 period. I have just had them re-upholstered in a cream fabric, with feather filled cushions. They are quite comfortable as they are without back cushions, although it would be very easy to make some matching back cushions or even some scatter cushions. Remember they are fairly small armchairs & it's a bit of a shame to cover the beautiful backs.
