London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
With superior tapestry needlepoint seats in excellent condition these Hepplewhite revival chairs are a splendid set. From the English George VI period and displaying the classic shield back with Prince of Wales plume feathers and fluted front legs.

The well proportioned chairs feature a desirable serpentine and moulded front rail.
The quality of the craftsmanship is evident and the chairs wear the original retailers label of the notable Payne & Holder of Weston-Super-Mare.

Certainly a quality set with strong mahogany frames providing a very comfortable seating position - an ideal set for daily use and perfect for extended dinner party seating.
The set displays beautifully and is solid of joint and in excellent order, these will make a lovely addition to any location.
