Antique Victorian Mahogany Library Bookcase C1860

Antique Victorian Mahogany Library Bookcase and dating from around 1860. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a flared cornice top above a deep cross banded frieze and with two shaped and glazed panelled doors with carved acanthus leaf corbal supports to each side. Internally there are two shelves and it has its original working lock and key. The base has a squared edge to the top above a cross banded frieze with matching carved acanthus leaf corbal supports to each side and with two short drawers over three long drawers all of which are pine lined and with original brass handles. it stands on unusual flat bun feet. The top separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 78" high x height to top of base 39" x 21" deep x internal depth 10" x 47" wide
