Description

A very unusual mahogany 4 drawer bureau.The fall, top and drawers with boxwood and ebony chevron style inlay.The fall with further inlay of oak leaves, acorns, foliage and "Green Man" face in boxwood and green stained sycamore with good pen work. The 4 graduated drawers with original brass handles and inlaid with Griffins, foliage, oak leaves and acorns. The fall supports with axe head drops and subtle inlay of Prince of Wales feathers below. The whole standing on ogee bracket feet. The polished interior with 8 tall and 3 short pigeon holes all with shaped satinwood tops. Good quality mahogany and mahogany lined. An unusual piece of good small size. Fully cleaned and waxed. Sizes:- Width...32''...81.5cm. Height...38.5''...98cm. Depth...18.25''...46.5cm.Delivery to most of U.K.£55.
