Warm mid brown wood - most likely walnut
Condition Report:
Some scuffs and marks commensurate with age. The lock is a replacement (solid brass) and so is the escutcheon. A small hole to the door whch has been filled with furniture wax. Scuffs to the top pelmet. Various old mends to the top pelmet. Small gap down the length of the front of the door (along the joint of the wood).
