Unusual Small Antique English Desk Blotter & Paper Knife - Agate C.1900

Description

A fabulous, highly decorative and unusual little rocking blotter and paper knife. The top of the blotter is topped with a wonderful piece of blue Scottish Agate in turn topped with a knob or handle which looks like Lapis Lazuli, but I can't be sure.

The knob unscrews to dismantle the blotter, allowing the blotting paper to be changed. This came to me complete with the little paper knife, again in a wonderful piece of Agate.

Excellent condition, the blotter measures 3" x 1 7/8" x 2 3/4" tall; the little paper knife, measuring 4 1/2" long.
