Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
To the doors are two fancy brass escutcheons with eagles to the top along with a working lock and key. Inside it has 3 oak shelves fitted with 3 curved drawers. A high quality and stylish piece with lovely warm patina to the mahogany. Circa 1800.

Some small scuffs and marks commensurate with age. The lock is a replacement. Some small old worm holes to the back panels. There is a split to the left hand door panel which has been filled with wax.
