A Georgian Yew and Elm Inlaid Chest on Stand

This superb piece of furniture, is made in Yew and Elm with a Fruit Wood inlay bordering the drawers it is built on an Elm Carcass

The chest has 5 drawer to the top section and a long drawer in the stand which has long cabriole legs, the brass fittings have an etched decoration

The Chest is not a very tall piece and very well suited to a small house or cottage, it is in very good condition with acceptable signs of a past life, all the wood worm has been treated

The chest stands 55” high it is 40” wide and 23” deep
