Description

A beautiful burr walnut Victorian Period Fold Over Chess/Back Gammon/Games table. Having an oval top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with purple heart banding. Which Opens to reveal a beautifully inlaid back gammon and chess board. Each bowed end with a mahogany lined frieze drawer lined in velvet for storing back gammon, chess pieces etc. Supported on beautifully turned supports with carved swept legs and inset brass and porcelain castors, united by a central turned and carved stretcher, English circa 1870-1880

Dimensions: 25" wide x 15" deep x 29" high

Condition: This games table is in excellent condition, re-polished
