The head of the bed is superbly carved with an urn and acanthus leaves in such a way that brings out the superb grain of the walnut, the front side of the bed is very deep and has similar carving, it has large shaped feet, the other side is flat as the bed was made stand against a wall
This is a very attractive piece, it will take a 4ft x6ft mattress and it comes supplied with a new pine base
The bed is 53” high and 50” wide and the overall length is 79“. The drop in size of the bed is 73” long, 47” wide it will take a standard 4ft mattress, it comes into 4 pieces + the base for transportation
