A large rare country house Arts & Crafts Period polished steel oval coal box. The elaborate oval cover beautifully made with handmade rivets in the aesthetic taste. The base again of oval form supported on wrought steel supports and with a central wrought finial with large swept handles to each side. Complete with the original steel tongues. English circa 1870-1880

dimensions: 30" wide x 20" high x 20" deep

Condition: This coal box is in wonderful original condition, a lovely patina
