Antique Edwardian Burr Walnut Chest on Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique walnut & maple bow fronted chest on chest of lovely slim proportions, dating to around the 1910 period. It's in excellent original condition with a lovely mellow colour, plus all the original brass handles & locks. The front section is a combination of burr walnut, figured walnut & birds eye maple. The drawers are also crossbanded & inlaid plus they are graduated in depth. There is a pull out brushing slide on the bottom section & it sits on splayed feet. This tallboy has a polished top & it comes apart in two section.

Depth - 17.5", 44 cm

Height - 62.2", 158 cm
