A Charming Miniature Victorian Silver Chamber Stick.

A charming example of Victorian miniature silver. This delightful piece is in the form of a chamber stick , sometimes called a go-to-bed. It is a tiny form of candlestick, the full sized example would have been for lighting the way to bed. It has a dummy 'pusher' for releasing the candle and a fixing for the snuffer. A gorgeous piece, assayed at the sought after Chester Office.
