Antique English Brass Mounted Casket by Halstaff & Hannaford C.1860

Description

A quality Victorian Burr Walnut dome-top casket mounted all over with quality polished brass mounts securely attached with a series of tiny brass headed screws.

The top incorporates a swing brass handle which will stand up or fold down. The interior has been beautifully relined in an Italian hand marbled paper creating a fresh, clean interior ready for use.

The underside of the box is lucky enough to have retained it's original finish with the original makers label for the well renowned London box manufacturer, Halstaff & Hannaford of Regent Street.

A lovely box in lovely condition. 10" x 5 1/2" x 5 3/4". Complete with a working key.
