Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1850s.
This is a rare opportunity to own a genuine Victorian copper kettle dated to around 1850.
It is rare in as much as it does not require a burner which is the most common way of keeping water hot, instead it has an extremely heavy lead weight which is heated in the fire and then very carefully using tongs placed inside the kettle in a special holder. It is extremely rare to find this type of kettle in such complete condition.

This is a must for anyone with a love for Victorian kitchenalia or copper.
Delivery within mainland UK is included
