Antique Edwardian Mahogany Ladies Writing Desk C1900

Antique Edwardian Mahogany Ladies Writing Desk and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a gilt gallery back above two drawers to each side with bevelled inset mirror to the centre. The table top with moulded edge has its original leather skiver above a bow fronted drawer to the centre and single drawer to each side. All of the drawers have moulded fronts with original gilt brass handles and are mahogany lined. It stands on long squared and tapering legs on a spade foot on original castors.

Measures: 37" high to top of rail x 29" desk height x knee height 24" x 21" deep x 42" wide

A very nice Antique Edwardian Mahogany Ladies deskand in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
