Description

A beautiful rosewood vanity/travelling box by PARKINS & OTTO of Oxford St., London.

Parkins & Otto were regarded as the leading suppliers of refined products of this nature.

The box has a mother of pearl escutcheon and cartouche (unsigned) to the top and is key lockable.

It has a seperate jewelry drawer which is released by a button within the box. The mirror to the lid can be released by a hidden clip to reveal a writing pad and a wallet in which to store correspondence. All glass jars are original to the box and undamaged.
