This is a wonderful opportunity to own a genuine Victorian oil lamp c1890 in full working order.
What really makes this lamp stand out is the wonderful shaped solid brass base which is decorated with floral motifs and this is complimented by the shade with the fluted top which is in the typical Victorian design.
The brass is bright and crisp yet retaining the patina you would expect from a pice of this era.
It measures 23" high and the base is 6.5" in diameter.
As you would expect from a piece of solid brass it is extremely heavy.
This is a genuine Victorian oil lamp and not to be confused with reproductions.
