A charming large Victorian sterling silver box, English in origin by a top-notch London silversmith, William Comyns.

The box has an all-over repousse or embossed decoration incorporating romantic Doves and a Cherub on the side.

The box has full English hallmark for London 1897 together with the makers initials. Excellent condition measuring 3 3/8" x 3 1/4" x 1 3/4" tall. 3.11 Troy Ounces / 96.9 Grams.
