The top of the table is made from thick planks and is cleated at both ends, this is a really superb looking piece for any one with the taste for the natural beauty of the wood
The table has turned legs with a strong H stretcher, the table has a drawer at one this one would make a superb kitchen or dining table
The table is very sound and very heavy, the top has natural gnarling in the wood and shows signs of beetle damage that was probably in the wood whilst it was still a tree, it has some small plug pieces let in during its construction quite a common feature in French pieces of this age
The table is 80” long, 31” wide, it is 31” high and 25” under knee
