Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
It has a wonderful pale pink coloured fluted shade and swirl design reservoir.
The lamp really stands out because of the size, originally from France these lamps were called piano lamps as they were specifically designed to sit on the top of the piano in order to read the music.
It has been fully and professionally restored with the brass being bright and crisp yet retaining the patina you would expect from a lamp of this age.
The shade, reservoir and chimney are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and it is in full working order.
It measures 20" maximum height and the base is 4.0" in diameter.
