French Carved Double Bed, this is a Marriage Bed in the Breton style, depicting scenes from the country side with a young Man and a young Woman and their coming together

This is a superb piece 19th Century Carving, the head board has the characteristic Armorial Crest , while the foot board has 3 scenes one of the young couple the young Man and his young Woman and their coming together, as an expression of hope for a long life together

The bed is 56” wide and 74” long, the top is 54” high and the bed will be supplied with a new pine slatted base
