Description

Well-coloured and looking very cheerful this ANTIQUE STAFFORDSHIRE MR. PUNCH TOBY JUG bears the Design Registration Number 139844 to the base. This interprets to a date of 1890.

Height: 12 inches (30.5 cm)

Depth: 6.25 inches (16 cm)

Width: 4.5 inches (11.5 cm)

Mr. Punch comes with his original hat.

The condition is good. There is an undeveloped chip to the underside of the base rim and a tiny surface chip to the footrim at the back (please see photographs). There is some glaze rubbing to the top rim.

Mr. Punch displays very well.
