Description

This antique walnut card table has a great shape & can be used as a side table or opened up to become a card table. The inside is baize lined & under that is a storage compartment. The top of this table is a burr walnut with cross banding & the tops of the shaped legs are well carved too, culminating in ball & claw feet. This card table is in good original condition, with a lovely original nutty brown colour & I would say it dates from around the 1910-20's period. The baize lining is quite old & worn, which you can make out in the images. It could be used as is or could be re-baized. I do have someone who can do it if needed. The back of this table is also polished, so it could be free standing if so wished.
