Pair of Silver Cup & Covers

1900 - 1920
Description

A Pair of Good Quality Silver Cups and Covers of Classical Vase Design. The lift off covers with flower bud and leaf finials, above down swept rims. The bodies decorated to the shoulders with bands of raised leaves, held within beaded borders. The bodies cupped by rising leaves above a ring socle, spreading onto a square foot, decorated with raised leaves to repeat the decoration of the shoulders. The bodies with leaf cast scroll and chased handles. The interior with silver gilt.

Excellent detail and condition.

Hallmarked for London 1905, makers marks for John Carrington, Carrington & Co.
