A Victorian Period Seascape By William Harry Williamson depicting various fishing boats in a stormy sea by the harbour. Housed in a later replacement gilt gesso frame. Signed and dated, English circa 1884

Dimensions: Frame 36" high x 56" wide Canvas 29" high x 49" wide

William Henry Williamson

Williamson was a gifted, London painter of coastal scenes, particularly of the south coast. He exhibited at Suffolk Street, the British Institute and the Royal Academy from 1853-75. One of the titles at the RA was 'Off the Coast of Kent'.

Condition: ThIs painting is in excellent original condition
