A Superb late 19th century library bookcase of the highest quality ,Mahogany with inlays of Satin wood, Box Wood, Olive Wood etc, the upper section has thirteen pane astragal glazed doors with 4 adjustable shelves surmounted by a fret pierced pediment with vase platform, the lower section has 2 doors with superb marquetry inlay, a single shelf, standing on bracket feet. The condition is excellent with no damage or repairs. The polish finish is original. This fine item was produced by the highly respectable cabinet making firm of MAPLE and COMPANY of LONDON.
