Italian Bureau

Description

An exceptional quality rosewood Italian Bureau on stand. The Bureau has a pierced carved and pierced fretted double gallery to the top with a fabulous central inlaid panel to the fall. The panel is inlaid with bronze, brass, copper, pewter, tortoise shell, dyed ivories, mother of pearl and abalone shell.

The base has a drawer to the front and stands on elegant carved tapering cabriole legs. The inside on the Bureau has a satinwood interior and the drawer fronts are beautifully inlaid with several coloured woods. The Bureau still retains its original green leather.

Width - 35 inches

Depth - 19 ½ inches
