This highly impressive clock (illustrated next to a large Gorge-cased example, which gives a good idea of its size) retains its original huge platform lever escapement and has full GRAND SONNERIE striking (and repeating) of hours and quarters on two BELLS.
It is in full working order and is signed and numbered: "JD" ~ almost certainly for the maker: J. Dejardin. 10ins (25.4cms) high with handle up.
