Pair of Tole Tea Cannisters

Description

A Pair of Mid 19th Century Tole and Decorated Tea Cannisters. Each with a rounded top lift off lid, fitting over a high collar. The bodies with rounded shoulders and straight cylindrical sides. The cannisters decorated in gilt with bands of intertwined leaves to the lids, and bands of Greek Key to the body.

One decorated 'Indian' '31', the other decorated '21'. The gilt against a green ground, each with manufacturers plaque for 'Parnall & Sons, 21 & 22 Harrow Wimes, Bristol.'

Height 17" Diameter 9 1/2"
