Pair Antique Walnut Side Chairs

1900 - 1920
Description

A decorative pair of antique side chairs in walnut dating from circa 1900. They have galleried backs, with turned side supports and reeded bottom rails. They stand on turned legs and the seats has been newly recovered in a charming brocade fabric with leaf design in gold and green on a mint background. They have makers initials stamped "C.B." under the legs.

Construction/Wood:

Walnut

Condition Report:

solid condition, wear and marks commensurate with age. Lovely warm patination to the walnut. Newly recovered with new fabric over the existing horsehair upholstery which is sound. Some worm holes to one of the chairs which have been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
