Antique Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier Bookcase

Description

Antique Victorian mahogany chiffonier bookcase in lovely original condition. This one has nice small proportions. It has an over hanging curved cornice, original glazing on the top doors & the original carved corbels on the top & bottom sections. There is a concealed shaped drawer in the middle & panelled cupboards below. The top shelves are adjustable on shark tooth supports & the is one shelf in the bottom section. These bookcases are very useful, because they can be used for books in the top & for storage in the deeper bottom section. This bookcase has just been French Polished. It dates to around the 1860-80 period & comes apart into two sections for easy transportation.

Height - 82", 209 cm
