Antique Edwardian Burr Walnut Writing Table - Dressing Table - Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

Wonderful quality antique walnut kneehole desk or dressing table in good original condition. The top is burr walnut with figured walnut cross banding & the sides are figured walnut. The graduated shaped drawers are burr walnut, with original brass handles. It also has canted corners, solid walnut shaped legs & a polished back. This piece came out of the same house as the walnut chest of drawers also on my site & you can see the similarities in the design, so it was obviously made by the same person. It must date to around the 1890-10 period.

Width - 43.4", 110 cm

Depth - 23", 58 cm

Height - 31", 79 cm

Knee height - 23.6", 60 cm
