Antique English Sterling Silver Ring Box for Two Rings - 1903

Description

A charming Edwardian ring box made from English sterling silver with hallmarks for London 1903; the makers initials W & C Ld. are also present.

The box has most attractive repousse or embossed decoration with a vacant cartouche to the gently domed lid. The lid fits perfectly and the hinges in perfect working order too.

Once opened, the fitted interior is revealed with a deep Burgundy red velvet lining to accommodate two rings.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 3/8" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/4".
